   Renewing your domain is a way of protecting your trade names and business on the web. If you registered your domain before 5 p.m. Central Time on April 10, 2001, your domain is registered through OpenSRS. In that case, transferring your domain to directNIC will give you some extra benefits, including an extra year added to your renewal.
